彰化縣民靖國小校長 蔡榮捷博士
傳統運動傳承不易、面臨衰退已是普遍存在的問題。彰化縣自2007年起召集運動教育相關人員,針對舞獅教學研擬並執行一系列的措施,在短期間有數千人學習舞獅技藝,使舞獅運動的普及開展新頁。本研究目的在探討此時期彰化縣舞獅教學的發展過程,以文獻分析及參與觀察並輔以訪談為研究方法,深究促進舞獅活動的發展模式,並評述措施的優劣作為傳統運動發展之參考。
研究結果如下:
一、 傳統舞獅教學的教材及獅頭等器具,經簡化及重組後學習興趣及效果大增。
二、 透過校際聯盟合聘專長教師及政府專案補助解決普遍師資缺乏的問題,並結合各領域的學習,充實了體育教學的文化內涵。
三、 舉辦教育盃舞獅錦標賽,以精進舞獅技藝並引領教學目標,也結合文化活動使運動員有表現的空間。
四、 此發展模式的限制如下:政府的經費支持、學校的舞獅教學動機、師資培育、競技或全民運動的發展模式。

A Restoration Model of a Traditional Sport—a Typical Example of the Lion Dance In Changhua County
It’s a widely held problem that traditional sports are not easy to be handed down and are in decline. Since 2007, those who get involved in sports education have been convened in Changhua County, and a series of measures with regard to lion dance teaching have been considered and taken; in a short time, thousands of people have learned lion dance, and the popularity of lion dance has soared. The purpose of this study is to discuss the development of lion dance in Changhua County from this period; documentary analysis, participant observation, and interview method would be conducted to fully understand the development model for lion dance teaching in Changhua County, and to make some comments on its strength and weakness for future reference of traditional sports.
The results of this study are as the following:1. The learning interests were greatly aroused and the effects were greatly produced after the simplification and reorganization of the teaching materials for traditional lion dance and the equipment such as Lion Head.
2. Through inter-school alliance Joint appointment and government subsidies, the problem of the lack of teachers in entrepreneur was solved, and furthermore, the integration of the learning in every field enriched the culture of PE teaching.
3. “Lion Dance Education Cups' were held not only to master the art of lion dance and to set the teaching objective, but also to make the athletes have stage for performances by combining cultural activities.
4. The threat of the development included the following: the financial support from the government, the schools’ motivation for teaching lion dance, teacher education、development of Competitive Sports or Sports-for-All.
